Time is the one thing given equally to all of us, yet what we do with it is entirely our own choice. It’s Up to You explores the quiet but powerful truth that every day presents a decision: to drift through the moments we’re given, or to claim them and shape them into something meaningful. It's all about perspective. Will you see the brighter colors of spring or get sucked in the dark?
 
Layers of color, texture, numbers, and markings move across the canvas like fragments of passing time—memories, moments, and possibilities overlapping and dissolving into one another. The abstract elements suggest movement and unpredictability, reflecting how life rarely unfolds in a straight line. A heartbeat line reminding us how precious this life is and we never know when that line will go flat, while scattered numbers and symbols evoke the counting of days, the tracking of time, and the weight we place on it.
 
Amid the layered chaos, the message becomes clear: time will pass regardless, but what it becomes is in our hands. The "ME" in time is highlighted to express that we need to focus on what and who we give our time to because its out life, nobody else's. We should give our energy and time to what enhances our life, not what steals our energy and time that we can never get back. 
 
This piece invites the viewer to pause and reflect on how they spend their time; whether they allow it to slip by unnoticed, or choose to invest it in the people, passions, and experiences that bring meaning and fulfillment to life.
Because in the end, the direction we take, the risks we accept, and the life we build with the time we’re given… is entirely up to us.
