"Victory" is a mixed medium painting that embordies the essence of triumph and victory. The artist wanted to play off the idea of clouds while the dark color palette reminded her of the chas in world disasters, as the clouds are filled with smoke and debris. The use of the metalic inks make the piece appear dark when looking straight on but as you move side to side or lighting, the dark clouds becomes lighter with hints or charcoals and silvers, the greens become brighter. And as you look deeper into this piece, you start getting the sense of calmness, as if everything went quiet, the debris and smoke begin to settle, and in the distace, the once lost hope was rising over the horizon, proclaiming its victory once again.
